FAQ

What is patent art?

Patent art is artwork made from the technical drawings filed with patent applications. SEEKER VII restores original U.S. patent drawings and prints them on clothing.

Are these real patent drawings?

Yes. Every design comes from a real, granted U.S. patent. The patent number and grant date are printed on each design and listed on its product page.

Are old patent drawings public domain?

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office states that patent text and drawings are typically not subject to copyright restrictions. We also check each patent for any copyright notice before using it.

Which Nikola Tesla patents do you sell?

Our first drop, XVI — The Tower, includes seven Tesla patents: the Wardenclyffe Tower apparatus (1914), wireless power through the upper air (1900), earth resonance (1905), the liquid-air circuit (1901), the radio-controlled boat (1898), private wireless signaling (1903) and the flat spiral coil transformer (1897).

What shirt do you print on?

The Bella + Canvas 3001 unisex tee: soft, lightweight, 100% combed and ring-spun cotton, printed with direct-to-garment ink.

How long does shipping take?

Every order is printed to order. Most orders arrive in about 5–10 business days within the United States. Shipping is free.

Do you ship outside the United States?

Not yet. We currently ship to US addresses only.

What if my shirt arrives misprinted or damaged?

Contact us within 30 days of delivery with a photo and we'll send a free replacement or a full refund. See our refund policy.

Can I return a shirt that doesn't fit?

Because each piece is made to order, we can't accept returns for size or change of mind. Please check the size guide on each product page.
