XVI — The Tower · Drop 1
In 1898, at an electrical exhibition in Madison Square Garden, Tesla steered a small boat around an indoor pool without touching it, sending commands through the air. Some in the crowd were sure it was a trick. This is the patent for that machine, one of the earliest designs for remote control, which Tesla called a "teleautomaton."
Restored from the original U.S. patent and printed in amber on black.
